Well we are pre approved to start the process. So hopefully daddy will sign soon.

Update again

Well the homestudy agency contacted Holt because of what I told them and maybe just maybe they will become the agency Holt uses in Nevada.

We are checking still into other Holt options, domestic and foster care.

We won't decide anything for awhile just getting information and numbers.

Saving for Hawaii comes first

Well Nepal, China or somewhere domestic are our options.

We are looking into foster care also and catholic charities here in southern nevada.

WHo knows which way, won't start anythign until after Christmas but really want to continue researching so we know timeframe and costs this time

The US signed the Hague our options are dwindling since where we live there are NO accrediated agencies and NO international agencies.

SO putting out the feelers to see if we would even qualify for domestic and looking into foster/adopt. Which I really don't want to do because we DO NOT want to foster we want to adopt.


I am down to three countries to adopt from so I guess we keep looking. Maybe the domestic agencies will accept an old folk but most want childless (we have two kids) and in 20's or 30's I justt hit the big 40.

But when one door slams shut one opens. So we are looking into Nepal. It is a new country and just reopening so lots of unknowns.

If this one just doesn't pan out we will do foster/adopt and pray that we can be matched and adopt but the US system of foster care is a hard one. Reunification is the goal (which I understand) and I especially DO NOT WANT to just foster. SO the risk and emotions attached for me and my other kids just really scare me.

We are Finally able to Access the site again

We finally accessed the blog again. Here we will post about the happenings of the littlest M. She is spicy and full of life and we are so glad we followed the promptings from Heavnly Father and found her.

I remember knowing she was to come home. A special story to share with her some day.

She is all girl and this SPRING she will start dancing and tumbling. She is excited (MOM MISSED THE LAST CUT OFFS BY ONE DAY). I will need to pay better attention.
